Beth Kershner
House Director, Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Beta Theta Pi
Beth Kershner has been serving as the house director at the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Beta Theta Pi at Kansas State University since August 2022. Beth arrived in Manhattan after being House Mom for Willard Sorority at Nebraska Wesleyan. In her time there she survived COVID and all that entails, a major flood and manning the kitchen when the chef could not get in due to 13.5 inches of snow, just to name a few!
A native of the Chicagoland area with stops in Tulsa Oklahoma for school, Dallas, TX and Liberal, KS (mercifully short stay), Beth has spent her adult life in Tulsa. As the mom of two sons, life included volunteer stints with United Way, Tulsa Boys Home, and the Phi Mu Alumnae group to mention a few. After her youngest started kindergarten, Beth returned to the work force in marketing and sales positions and served most recently as International Sales Manager for Fire Engineering Books and Videos. Time with the fire service gave her more insight than she probably wanted when it comes to fire safety, sprinklers, etc. Doing a couple of house updates and flips have given a solid knowledge foundation in the constant battle of “house fixes.”
Besides international travel and yearly visits to Northern Michigan, Beth is a quilter and a recent pickleball convert - almost a fanatic. Hopefully, she will find a league soon!
We are glad to have Beth at Gamma Epsilon. We hope you can stop by Beta to say hello and share stories of your time at K-State.
